With a seemingly never ending influx of the latest and greatest in kitchen supplies and utensils, finding places to store them is becoming increasingly challenging. Fortunately there are some really great options out there for kitchen storage ideas.
Pot Racks
Although they have been around for decades, the use of the pot rack in today’s kitchen design is seeing a resurgence. These racks come in all shapes, sizes and designs. You can hang them from the ceiling or mount them along a way. They are a great way to store and display pots and pans, as well as free up the ever-elusive cupboard space for the storage of other kitchen items.
Pantries
If there is room in the kitchen, you can build your own pantry for the storage of food or additional kitchen items. With just a few 2×4” studs, a sheet or two of dry wall, a door, some shelving and a little paint to match the kitchen, you can build a pantry on a budget and in doing so, create some additional storage space.
Both of these options are budget friendly and will provide much needed additional kitchen storage, while increasing the utility and value of the kitchen.
